every time i click a feature it takes ages to open.

The ability to highlight multiple pages over entire flatplan - not just 5 continuous pages etc. Would make it easier to update spreads rather than have to click on each dropdown arrow and do it one by one ... I like to tick off that I have submitted say 30 pages at a time.

It would be good to know how to alter page numbering: in a 48 plus 4 page publication, I would like to count the four pages as Cover, IFC, which you do, and then IBC (inside back cover) and then BC (back cover)

I have created a free trial account and you tell me I am using IE when I am using Firefox. The firts pages renders in basix html, gives me an error message about a PDF which I don't understand, cannot open the feedback [age, none of the links work.......this hasn't moved on since the same thing happened this time last year!

The price model available seems focused on monthly magazines. Blinkplan could be a perfect match for my company if there where alternatives to that. My need is roughly fifty individual flatplans (with individual work groups) annually, where each flatplan would be active during half a year.

Blinkplan is user-friendly, cool and efficient. If it is able to link pages or sections to Xpress / Indesign files, it'ld become very powerful…

My publication has Reader Circle #'s for lead generation for our advertisers. It would be great if we could have the option of adding a circle # to Advertising pages.

When I have a gatefold cover, I make the cover section 6 pages (instead of 4), and Blinkplan adds the extra 2 pages at the back of the flatplan -- which is a bit confusing. Can we have these pages be at the front of the flatplan?

The ability to export a list with: page number, content, content distribution, status, so that you can have a list view of the total content in the magazine.

Obviously, lots of people work from the flatplans (designers, ad people, editors), so wouldn't it be good to have check boxes that can be assigned to a page/spread/feature by the administrator, with status descriptions such as 'materials supplied'/'laid out'/'sent for approval' etc. (status descriptions need to be customise-able according to project).

The reason i set up blinkplan was so that designers and I can work remotely. I want to give my designers instructions for some pages. Its very tedious for them to scroll through my entire notes.

I make the flatplans for several newspapers which share the same content dimensions. We use ads and editorial shapes that are sized 1/16 page, 9/16 page, 1/4 vertical and horizontal, 3/8 vertical and horizontal, etc. If we could customize our own templates to fit our own peculiar needs, we would be able to use your system to meet our needs.

When placing adverts and single page articles and so forth it's quit awkward to move them about. Clicking on a single page and simply saying "swap that with page X" would be really useful. So shifting single page adverts around a magazine becomes far easier.

It would be great if when the user clicks on "Download PDF" they were presented with options on how many pages of the flat plan would print per page in the PDF. Default now is - I believe - 97 or so - I'd love to see the pages slightly bigger so that the PDF has something along the lines of 45-50 flatplan pages per PDF page.

this software looks great! but it could do with a login button to access our flatplans. or am i missing something. i realise i can type into the browser, but a login would be easier. i think(?!)

other than that - so far it's cool!

Since developing a flatplan is really a collaborative process (in most cases) I think being able to have multiple users with variable access rights and permissions would be a nice addition to blinkplan.

It would be nice to be able to highlight all the pages in a feature (say, three spreads) and be able to move the whole feature in one drag and drop, instead of having to move each spread individually.
